Window Treatments for Your Small Space
More and more people today are downsizing their living space for economic and environmental reasons. You may think your window treatments options are very limited in a smaller space. We’re here to show you how to have gorgeous window coverings that maximize your available space.
Hang Them High and Wide
It seems counterintuitive to hang your window treatments higher and wider than the frame but hear us out. You won’t do yourself any favors by hanging your shades as close to the frame as possible. Hanging your curtains a few inches below the ceiling and a few inches past each side will make your windows appear larger. Your window coverings will also not take up space within the window when your shades are open. This is especially important if you have a great view you’d like to enjoy.
Sheerly Beautiful
Light colors reflect light which makes a space appear larger. Sheer shades also give your room an elegant yet airy feeling. If privacy is a concern, opt for Silhouette® Window Shadings or Pirouette® Window Shadings. Both of these styles have adjustable vanes, which allow you to enjoy natural light without compromising your privacy.
